(Wichita, Kans.) – The Wichita Art Museum is pleased to announce that Amy Hughey has joined the museum as Director of Development. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth, Hughey brings a wealth of expertise to WAM’s leadership team.

Most recently, Hughey served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at Nashville Zoo, where she led partnership development, secured the largest sponsorship deals in the organization’s history, and expanded the zoo’s community impact. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at New York Road Runners, managing high-profile brand partnerships and overseeing significant revenue streams.

A Wichita State University alumna, Hughey has a strong background in donor cultivation, community engagement, and major event fundraising. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated success in revenue growth, sponsor and donor prospecting, team leadership, and community partnerships. Now, as she returns to her hometown of Wichita, she brings her expertise back to a community that played a foundational role in her journey.
