    O'Keeffe, Georgia

    1926

    An aerial view of the East River in New York. Georgia O'Keeffe lived at the Shelton Hotel in midtown Manhattan between 1925 and 1936. This was her view, from the 30th floor, of the East River looking across to Long Island City, Queens.
