In this etching, we see the architectural design of Йglise Saint-Martin. This early-Gothic church stands as the backdrop in which Richards can ground his work in while World War II plains fly overhead. This particular building had been damaged in the midst of WWII, thus becoming a prime choice for exploration of the war influence on the world around us.
