About the Artwork
“When my daughters were in elementary school, they wanted cats. Though I was not particularly fond of cats, I still allowed them into our home. This was the start of a lengthier relation with cat images in my art. “Daphne the Cat” inspired a large triptych, a limited edition print book named Scaredy Cat and various other image in which cats play a crucial role.”
–John Boyd
