![The plane is spraying a corn field and the truck is an advance for a semi hauling a wind turbine blade.
There are dozens of diseases and kinds of insects that can damage a crop. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have been developed that can help control these pests, but it is impossible they can prevent everything. Much of the task is left to aerial sprayers. As careful and skilled as pilots can be, spray drift is definitely a concern. What’s good for one crop may be very damaging to another and pesticides that kill insects can be harmful to people and animals. There are plenty of lawsuits that testify to this issue.](https://wam.org//wp-content/uploads/2020/12/2019.13.18.jpg)
