Join photographer Jim Dow and Dr. April Watson, Senior Curator of Photography at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, for a conversation about his early black-and-white prints as well as a small selection of recent color work on view in the exhibition Signs: Photographs by Jim Dow.
The Mid-Kansas Jewish Federation's Jewish Summer Film Series presents: .An American Pickle' (2020). In 1919, Herschel Greenbaum (Seth Rogen), an optimistic immigrant laborer, falls into a vat of pickles at his factory job and is preserved for 100 years. Emerging in present-day Brooklyn without aging, he meets his great-grandson Ben, an app developer. Their attempts to bridge the 100-year gap lead them to rediscover the true meaning of family and the value of a good pickle.

Smith is Curator, Arts of Africa and the African Diaspora at the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University. Smith is the editor of the forthcoming Somewhere in America exhibition catalogue.
Gallery Opening. This exhibition features the collaborative work of twin artists (A+B), who explore the multifaceted dimensions of twinship through TWIN-SIZED diptychs.
