Ten Tiny Dances

Ten Tiny Dances®

Ten Tiny Dances® was created in Portland, Oregon, in 2002 and continues to be produced by founder Mike Barber and others. Across the country for over twenty years the concept has continued: ten choreographers at a time have challenged themselves to create a dance on a 4×4’ stage. This fall in Wichita, the performers will be inspired by a work of art in WAM’s featured exhibition, Alex Katz: Theater and Dance. Expect to see work that is experimental, deeply intimate, raucous, silly, and sublime during this wild and delightful choreographic challenge. This program is offered in partnership with Harvester Arts.
