Curator and art historian Dr. Reilly Shwab explores artistic responses prompted by our state’s culture and landscape.

Explore the variety of artistic responses prompted by our state’s culture and landscape in the exhibition Prairies on Paper during this talk with art historian Dr. Reilly Shwab. Drawn from the collections of the Wichita Art Museum and Emprise Bank, this exhibition features works of art from the 1920s to the present, including scenes of endless expanses of grass and sky, towering grain elevators, and decaying-or flourishing farm towns.

5 pm | Exhibition preview and cocktails. Free and open to the public.
6 pm | Talk with Dr. Reilly Shwab, Howard E. Wooden Lecture Hall
