Keep the learning and creativity going with hands-on art experiences in WAM’s Summer Break Camp.

Wild Wonders: Printmaking with Nature

Monday, July 8 –Friday, July 12
1-4 pm daily
Ages 6 (finished kindergarten) to 8 years old
Instructor: Maria Vasquez

Spark your creativity with nature! Little artists will explore different printmaking techniques to discover how art can capture the beauty of nature. Enjoy creating unique prints with plants and flowers, garden veggies, and sunshine to celebrate the summer season.

 

Maria Vasquez loves everything creative, from film and music to theater and dance. She has been an educator for almost six years as the Drawing and Painting teacher at Wichita South High. Maria’s artistic process involves exploring mediums and idea that pique her interest in creating fun and colorful artwork with a splash of strangeness! She is excited to return as a teacher at summer WAM Camp!
