Featured Guest: The Great Plains Nature Center
The Great Plains Nature Center in Wichita, KS sits on Chisholm Creek Park, a nature oasis in the middle of the city with 280 acres of prairies, wetlands, and woodlands, viewable from walking trails. Inside the nature center building are exhibits focused on healthy Kansas habitats, a 2,200 gallon aquarium with native fish, an observatory overlooking the wetlands, live animal ambassadors, and weekly programs, all which can be enjoyed for free.
