Let your imagination soar through the magic of art and stories! Performances, storytelling, activities in the galleries, and art making for the whole family will spark your creativity on this day devoted to books and art.


Activities and Schedule:

11 am to 3 pm

  • Coloring Station with Sontia Levy-Mason of Get Ya Color On Studios (River Lobby – 1st floor)
  • Art making (Art Studio)
  • Pop-up Children’s Book Nook (2nd floor galleries)
  • PLAY—WAM’s interactive family space (1st floor; Follow the dots!)
  • Taters & Toppings food truck (outside)

11:30am

  • Kathak (Classical Indian dance) performance with Sonalli Kurlekar. Sonalli Kurlekar will be performing a Kathak dance performance on ‘Hori’, a theme-based performance depicting the Festival of Colors and arrival of spring. (Ablah Gallery – 2nd floor)

  • Storytelling with Wanda Lonnon in (im)permanent (2nd floor galleries)
