About this Event

Wichita has a new music society, and WAM partners to offer chamber music a concert stage in the S. Jim and Darla Farha Great Hall. The Chamber Music Society of Wichita is committed to bringing world-class chamber groups to South Central Kansas. WAM and CMS link arms to present an exciting lineup of performances this fall and spring—kicking things off in November with the aptly named Carpe Diem String Quartet.

WAM is excited to host this quartet, a unique ensemble that blends both new and old classical, Romani, tango, folk, pop, rock, jazz, and more. The Quartet has been featured at Carnegie Hall in New York City, National Gallery of Art in Washington, and many other locations across the globe.

Reserve your tickets early to enjoy an unforgettable, in-the-round musical experience in the beautiful S. Jim and Darla Farha Great Hall.

Capacity limited to 200, and advance tickets are required. Tickets to this and all 2022 CMS events are $25 for WAM members, $30 for the general public (with discounts available) and may be purchased online at www.cmswichita.org.
