With a career spanning more than five decades, during which she’s captured some of the most influential figures in entertainment, politics, business, and sports, Leibovitz has established herself as a keen observer of society. Notably, in 1991, she made history as the first female artist to hold a solo exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
