Blue Star Museums: Free Summer Admission for Military Families


Wichita Art Museum Welcomes Blue Star Families

The Wichita Art Museum is honored to participate in the Blue Star Museums program, offering free admission to our special exhibitions for active-duty military personnel and their families.

Program Dates:
May 17 – September 1, 2025 (Armed Forces Day through Labor Day)

Who Qualifies: Free admission is available to:

  • Active-duty members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, and Coast Guard
  • Members of the National Guard and Reserve
  • U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps and NOAA Commissioned Corps
  • Up to five family members

What to Bring: Please present one of the following IDs at the admissions desk:

  • Geneva Convention common access card (CAC)
  • DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID)
  • DD Form 1173-1 ID card
