WAM’s educational programming offers varied levels of engagement and participation with the core belief that we connect people, ideas, and art through remarkable experiences.

Bringing a group of students to WAM? There’s no admission charge for student groups visiting the museum, either on a self-guided or docent-led tour. 100% bus reimbursement also is available.

Bring the entire family to the next Family ArtVenture! These FREE events include art making, performances, gallery activities, and other fun for the whole family.

WAM is for Kids
Do you want to play Art Charades? Or try a Freaky Figure Game? Or go on a Scavenger Hunt in WAM’s Art Garden? Find art-related activities for kids of all ages to do at home or at the museum.

WAM is for Adults
Swing by the museum for an evening of exciting discussion and camaraderie. WAM organizes programs specificallly targeted at adults, including Wichita Art Chatter, curator talks, and special one-time gatherings dedicated to art, live performances, and creative community.
