She believes that curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning are the foundations of any artistic practice, regardless of medium. Her own artistic journey spans ballpoint pen drawing, graphic design, acrylic painting, muraling, and other forms of creative expression such as dance. Through these varied forms, Karis uses her work as a means of personal growth, building confidence, and embracing imperfection. For her, every mistake is an opportunity to learn and evolve. Driven by a passion for encouraging others to step out of their comfort zones, Karis strives to empower people to try new things and discover the beauty in imperfection.
