September’s Book, Artwork and Artist:

Get ready for a fun-filled and engaging experience in September! Join us for an interactive StoryTime. Listen to the story Book Lines That Wiggle” by Candace Whitman, dance with dancer and choreographer Gavin Gonzalez-Myers, and explore the artwork of Joan Mitchell, Untitled.

About Gavin Gonzalez-Myers: Gavin Gonzalez-Myers is a producer, choreographer, dancer, music theatre actor, and mime. He graduated from Wichita State University with two degrees in Musical Theatre and Dance and is continuing his education with production experience and community organizing. He has appeared around Wichita in many productions and events, such as Crown Arts Collaborative’s Christmas Spectacular, Smack Dab Dance Lab’s The Show You Didn’t Know was Happening and Elsewhere Fest, and Mosley Street Melodrama’s Reno County 911, as well as teaching as an Adjunct Tap Instructor at Friends University.  If you would like to follow Gavin and his community journey, follow @hungry.haveasnack and @gavin_myers on Instagram. Up next, he is choreographing “Once Upon a Mattress” at Collegiate High School and continuing the artist series, HUNGRY?!
