She works with the community to provide research-based education on gardening, local food production, and sustainable horticulture practices. Abbey coordinates educational programs, community events, demonstration gardens, and volunteer outreach efforts that help connect residents of all ages with gardening, healthy food systems, and environmental stewardship throughout the Wichita

Each program weaves together a children’s book, focused art looking at an artwork or exhibition, and a featured guest who brings energy through performance, music, movement, and creative play.
