From writing letters to going swimming, telling stories to finding lost buttons, Frog and Toad are always there for each other–just as best friends should be.

Arnold Stark Lobel (1933-1987) was a popular American author of children’s books. Among his most popular books are those of the Frog and Toad series, and Mouse Soup, which won the Garden State Children’s Book Award from the New Jersey Library Association.

Young learners and their caregivers are invited to join Storytime in the galleries on the first Friday of each month. Through engaging stories and related activities, works of art will come to life as each story is specifically paired with a work of art in our galleries! Extend your visit by exploring PLAY – the interactive space for families–afterward.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. FREE. No reservation required.
