Join us in the Wichita Art Museum’s Cessna Gallery for a special celebration: Gordon Parks Academy STEM Leaders in Applied and Media Arts: Student Art Show, on view May 7–July 27, 2025.

Presented in conjunction with “Homeward to the Prairie I Come: Gordon Parks Photographs from the Beach Museum of Art” and inspired by Parks’s legacy, this exhibition showcases original artwork by students from Gordon Parks Academy. Through themes of identity, storytelling, and creative expression, these young artists offer a powerful reflection of Parks’s enduring influence.
