Member Preview Day: “Abstract Expressionists: The Women”

In appreciation of your support, Wichita Art Museum members are invited to an exclusive preview of “Abstract Expressionists: The Women” before the exhibition opens to the public.

Be among the first in the country to see this groundbreaking exhibition, featuring works by Helen Frankenthaler, Lee Krasner, Grace Hartigan, Elaine de Kooning, and many others.

At 2:00 p.m., exhibition curator Dr. Ellen Landau will present an in-depth talk offering insights into the artists, their process, and their pivotal role in shaping Abstract Expressionism.

This special event is open to members only. Become a member today or join at the museum to take part. Membership sign-up will also be available during the opening, with WAM staff on hand to make it quick and easy to get started.

 


Abstract Expressionists: The Women is organized by the American Federation of Arts from the Christian Levett Collection and FAMM (Female Artists of the Mougins Museum), France. The exhibition is curated by Dr. Ellen G. Landau.
