About This Event

B-Side four photos of musicians. One man playing bass; woman standing at mic; one man playing guitar; man sitting. Text reads WAM Nights Open Late Fridays

Members of B-Side clockwise from top left: Zach Lorenson on bass; Christi Moore vocals; William Flynn guitar; Steve Hatfield drums

Inspired by the 1940s American modernism of William H. Johnson’s Fighters for Freedom series (currently feature exhibition on view), WAM is partnering with Wichita Jazz Festival to bring live jazz to the Great Hall during WAM Nights.

B-Side kicks off the Fall Jazz Series Friday, October 13. Described as “not your Daddy-O’s jazz,” B-Side plays all your favorite tunes with a dynamic jazz vibe.

“What an incredible performance! The music was amazing and yet, it’s so much more than a band! Christi crafted the show to fit our group perfectly and brought an energetic interaction that had our audience in stitches! Featuring the B-Side made this one of our most popular events to date!” – Mark Bretches, Wesley Friends
