The 25th season of the MKJF’s Jewish Summer Film Series, co-sponsored with the Wichita Art Museum, returns this summer with two superb films.

The second film is Yoo-Hoo Mrs. Goldberg, a  humorous and eye-opening story of television pioneer Gertrude Berg, the most famous woman in America you’ve never heard of. She was the creator, principal writer, and star of The Goldbergs, a popular radio show for 17 years, which became television’s very first character-driven domestic sitcom in 1949.

Film screenings are free. Capacity will be limited, and pre-registration is required. RSVP to jfruhauf@mkjf.org or call 316-686-4741.
